Below is a brief sample of the types of character stories we could tell. Many of these ideas are pulled straight from the most current news shuttered retail stores leaving entire communities unemployed; Uber and the shared economies exploitation of the American worker, etc. The goal is to explore the underlying cause of each story, the real life effects on people's lives and highlight the idea that no matter how different our lives, fundamentally we are the same. Episodes should scour the country, from Texas and Alabama, to Washington State, Utah, Wisconsin and New York. Could be interesting to juxtapose different experiences within the same community. Think an Uber driver vs. a CEO of a Tech Start Up in SF.
